Top 10 Mistakes, to be avoided with Google AdSense

1. Do not use fake information when opening your Google AdSense account.

2. Don’t advertise anything on Google’s prohibited items list. It’s a lot shorter lists than PayPal’s or eBay’s.

3. Don't "beg for clicks" or provide any incentive for clicking on your Google AdSense ads.

4. Do not display AdSense ads and a competitor's ads (like Overture's) on the same page at the same time.

5. Keep AdSense ads off of your registration, confirmation, and all "thank you" pages.

6. Never click on the ads running on your own site, even if you are genuinely interested in the product or service and are thinking of buying it!

7. No misleading labeling Google is very specific about what text can be placed around their ads. No text other than ‘sponsored links’ or ‘advertisements’ is allowed.

8. Avoid keyword spamming and other divisive tricks You may be tempted to buy.

9. Do not modify Google AdSense code other than to change the parameters that Google authorizes you to change.

10. Be honest with Google ! Yes, be honest about all the nine pionts above and make real money with Google Adsense.

The Google Adsense Template Phenomenon

For many affiliate marketers, Google Adsense templates are a god-send. In fact, they are now realizing that good money is made from this source of revenue. Try the simple mathematical computation of multiplying those clicks for every page on your website and you get a summation of earnings equivalent to a monthly residual income with that little effort you have made.

Since this form of contextual advertising can be a fast and easy way for website publishers of all sizes to display relevant and text-based Google ads on their website's content pages and earn money in the process, the need for unique graphics and google adsense templates comes into focus (or any other contextual ad provider). Ever-conscious of spam or junk pages, ideal graphics with ideal ad locations make website creation less painful.

How much you will be earning will depend on how much the advertisers are willing to pay. It will depend also on the keywords required. If the keywords the advertiser have chosen are in high demand, you could receive more dollars per click. On the other hand, low demand keywords will earn you just a few cents per click.

How can you start making profits out of your website using Adsense?

1. First, register for an Adsense account. It will only take a few minutes of your time.

2. When the site is accepted, you will be receiving a bit of javascript code to include in your web pages. You can insert this code on as many pages or web sites that you want. The AdWords will start appearing immediately after.

3. You will be earning a few cents or some dollars per click when someone starts clicking on the AdWords displayed on any of your web pages. Trying to earn false revenues by repetitively clicking on your own ads is a no-no. This will result in a penalty or the possibility of your site being eliminated. The money you have already earned may be lost because of this.

4. View your statistics. Adsense earnings can be checked anytime by logging into your web site account.

Once you got your account working, you may still want to pattern them to the many sites that are earning more money than you are. It is important to note that there are factors affecting how your website will perform and the amount of money it will give you.

It is a common practice that when a site earning money, the tendency is for the owner to want to make more out of what they are getting already. It usually takes some time combined with trial and error to attain what you want for your Adsense contents.

Time and some important factors that you can practice and use. Remember to study your server logs and watch for any activity that seems suspicious. Report anything that you may find odd, may it big or small thing.

You may want to consider disabling ads for your own IP address and local geographic area. This will certainly prevent accidents and will not make Google mistake another user as you. You can do through a htaccess file. This will avoid Google mistaking as clicking on your own ads and be kicked out because of it.

But all-in-all, with quality and original content, it's a win-win situation if you think more about it. A favor for persons looking for quality content and information. For the persons writing the original content articles. And the person with the quality original content rich website. Of course, the search engines and its advertisers are getting targeted traffic and sales but so what? As long as you are getting something in your favor, it does not really matter what the others are getting for themselves. But with quality and original Google Adsense templates making the job MUCH easier, the only income way is up.

The Great Adsense Blend..

Adsense is a wonderful opportunity for you to generate additional income for your website. It doesn't cost you anything is the best part! Adsense is also very simple. You have to complete an application with Google and be accepted to host advertisements for other businesses. Then you simply add lines of code to the html on the pages of the website where you are willing to have advertisements. With that all in place, how do you blend the Adsense Ads into your website so they don't stick out like a sore thumb? You don't want them to distract the consumer from what you are offering on your website.

You may not be aware of it, but you have a lot of say in how the advertisements are placed on your website including the placement, layout, color, and style. There are many places on a website to put Adsense Ads. Some prefer to place it on the top of the page and others like the bottom of the page. Along either side of the text for your website is convenient too. Since we read from left to right, the right side is more common as it will attract attention as the eyes move across the page.

According to Google Adsense, the most effective location is at the top of the page because the entire ad can be seen. Often parts of it are hidden when on the sides unless the mouse is used to scroll over the information. This can be distracting to the consumer and lose the effectiveness of the advertisement. They also recommend using different colors for the ads to differentiate it from your website materials, but to use colors that compliment each other.

The layout can be modified to make it different or the same as your website. Some advertisement hosts like everything to be in the same style and size to give a symmetrical look to the pages. Others like to have their information completely distinct from the advertisements. Both are effective so it is only a matter of personal preference as to how you want your website to appear. Colors including the background can be changed to make everything work together well. You might have to experience a little to come up with the right design you are happy with.

You want to blend the Adsense ads enough that they look natural appearing on your website rather than appearing to be out of place. If they don't look natural they can be distracting to the consumer. They also won't be effective because consumers don't trust what doesn't look professional when it comes to the internet. This could be damaging to your own sales on your website so pay close attention to this issue. It is a good idea to ask some others for feedback on how the information appears to them on your website. You should avoid placing ads to where they appear to be banners.

Adsense offers you some useful tools as well to get everything to blend. The Google Adsense Preview tools allow you to test the layout of your website with the ads in place. This gives you the opportunity to change anything that is ineffective before your consumers view in over the internet. You can also contact their customer support 24/7 for questions or concerns you may have.

Adsense is a great way for your website to generate additional income by offering to host advertisements for other businesses with similar products and services to offer consumers. You are still in control of the layout and design of your website. You have the ability to change the color, layout, and style of the advertisements placed on your website. You also get to determine where they are placed. This makes the idea of participating in Adsense advertising even more appealing.

Top 10 AdSense Tricks To Boost Your Commission

Google AdSense is fast becoming the preferred way for people to earn an income online. Forget eBay and multiple affiliate programs. Whether you are a work-at-home mom trying to make a little extra cash or an Internet entrepreneur with hundreds of monetized websites, AdSense is truly the easiest way to earn money.

Simply sign up for a free account, grab your ad code and paste it in your site. But here's the amazing thing - no matter how much money AdSense is making for you right now, a few simple tweaks can increase that amount considerably. And I should know, after learning about these tricks, I more than doubled my AdSense commissions!

The self-proclaimed AdSense gurus and experts are sharing this insider knowledge, for a fee.

You can learn all these secrets from them, as long as you buy their e-book, sign up for their seminar or purchase their newsletter. But I'm going to share all their AdSense tricks for free. Here they are:

1) Color code your ads to match your web site palette *exactly*. Don't use frames around your ads. Instead, in the AdSense code generation interface, make sure you choose the same color as your page background for the ad frame and the ad background.

[google Ads]

When choosing the ad heading colors, match them to the *exact* color of your page headings. Use the exact same ad background shade as your page background. Use the exact same ad text font and color as the text on your pages. You can see an example of this color-matching on my Search Engine Advice Blog at - http://www.searchenginecollege.com/blog.htm - notice the 4 link ad unit at the top and the skyscraper text ad unit on the left hand side under the heading Ads by Google as you scroll down the page? The link and text colors are identical to the color palette used throughout the rest of the page.

Near enough is NOT good enough. If you can't quite get the color matching right, use Google's built in color palette together with the RGB to HEX or vice versa color converter on this page - http://www.w3.org/MarkUp/Guide/Style. That handy little tool was a life saver for me.

This is probably the one single tweak that made the most difference to my commission levels.

2) Try not to use the traditional horizontal banner style or leaderboard image ads because people are blind to them.

3) Use Google's own AdSense optimization tips at https://www.google.com/support/adsense/bin/static.py?page=tips.html and visual heat map to assist you in deciding where on your page to place your AdSense ad code.

4) Research competitive keywords using a keyword research tool such as Keyword Discovery at http://www.keyworddiscovery.com/?id=22487 or grab a list of the most popular keywords from various sources and use them in your web site pages where relevant. This article - http://searchenginewatch.com/facts/article.php/2156041 - is a good source of frequently searched keywords. Targeting popular keywords should trigger AdSense ads on your pages that utilize those keywords. The more popular the keyword or phrase, the higher AdWords advertisers are generally willing to pay per click for it so the higher your commission on those clicks.

5) Incorporate the AdSense code into your page so that the ads look like a regular part of your site. You can see an example on this Internet Dating Stories site - http://www.lovestory.com.au/ - where link ads are incorporated within the regular left hand navigation of the site under the heading "Feature Links".

6) Use Google's new 4 and 5 link ad units wherever possible. They seem to have a much higher Click Through Rate (CTR) than regular ad styles. You can view all the AdSense ad formats at https://www.google.com/adsense/adformats.

7) Place arrows or images next to your ads to draw attention to them. You can see two different versions of on this search engine article library page - http://www.searchenginecollege.com/articles/article-library.htm - at the top (where a pointing hand directs your eye to the ad) and the bottom where 3 images draw your attention to each of the three AdSense ads.

8) Use the full allowance of multiple AdSense ads on each of your pages - 3 regular AdSense ads, plus 1 link unit. Use careful placement of these ads so they blend into your site and don't distract from your content. Clever use of this allowance can be seen on this page about bad Internet dating stories - http://www.lovestory.com.au/bad-stories.htm - where you see:

- 1 horizontal 4 link ad unit towards the top of the page under the first paragraph.
- 1 vertical skyscraper text ad unit about halfway down the left hand side under "Sponsor Links".
- 1 vertical skyscraper image ad unit down the left hand side under "Sponsor Links".
- 1 horizontal text banner unit at the bottom of the page with images above each ad to draw attention to them.

You can also include 1 AdSense referral button in addition to the 3 other units.

9) Tailor your page content to a particular niche or focus. Page content that is tailored towards a specific theme is more likely to trigger AdWords ads that closely match the content and are therefore more likely to interest your visitors and inspire them to click.

Don't create pages merely for the sake of placing AdSense ads. Visitors (and search engines) can see through this ruse in an instant.

10) Use custom Ad Channels for each of your ad placements, for example, "Top 5 Link Unit Blue Palette" or "Left Side Navigation Image Skyscraper" etc. Tweak, track and measure the success of each of these custom channels so you know what gives you the highest CTR. Some ad formats and colors will work better than others, but you won't know which until you test, test and test some more!

The advertisers on that site can place their offer from a simple link back to a complete article or review of a product. Onces you get an opportunity from an advertiser, simply write a post about that topic and give a link back to the payperpost network. Make Money Online: Beginner's Guide

Q. I keep reading about people making serious money online. Is there any truth to it or is it all hype?

Not hype.

As of 2007, the number of different ways you can make money on the Internet, has reached an all time high. Normal people are selling on eBay , promoting affiliate offers , writing for a living , creating niche content sites and typically doing it all from their home office.

In fact, I'm surprised so many people stick with their "physical world" boring day jobs and never even experiment with making money online. Their quality of life could improve significantly if they just stick to it.
Q. How much money are we talking about?
On the high end, there are people like Markus Frind , an engineer who created a free dating website, has no employees but his girlfriends who helps out and is collecting $200,000 a month from Google. Or Jeremy Schoemaker , a self taught pay per click expert, who is reportedly making $6M annually working from his home office, running 4 companies.

You have folks like Kris Jones , who started a gourmet food company, doing affiliate marketing on the side and ended up repositioning and creating the fastest growing full-service Internet Marketing agency in the United States with now nearly 100 employees, all financed from affiliate marketing profits.

There's a nice lady by the name of Wendy Piersall , who started a blog titled eMomsAtHome and turned it into a little empire.

We're talking big money.

Q. I don't have any technical skills. Is that a problem?

No.

Not unless you make it a problem in your head.

There are literally tens of thousands of success stories, covering people from all backgrounds, origins, professions and countries. You no longer need to come from a certain background, origin, posses a certain level of education or have any other inherent skills. The only thing all these case studies have in common is an unwavering passion to succeed at all cost. You're going to fail repeatedly, so you better get used to it. Persistence is key.
Q. How soon can folks normally quit their "day job"?
At least not for a year. Read success stories of people who made it big online and you'll learn all (or most) of them had a solid dayjob, while they were working on their online businesses. You need to put food on the table, that's your first priority.

There are enough hours in the day and plenty of resources online, so that if you're committed and willing to invest 2 hours every day and a few more over weekends to building your own sites , 12 months are more than enough to build a significant income from your online ventures. It takes time building revenues online. But it's worth it.

Q. How exactly is money being made online?

To understand how money is being made online, you need to understand two important online marketing terms:

Traffic = The number of people who visit a website.

Conversion Rate = The percentage of website visitors who decide to buy or signup on that website.

For example, a website with daily traffic of 10,000 visitors and a conversion rate of 2%, selling a $20 product, will generate $4,000 per day to the website owner. (10,000/100*2*20)

To make money online you need to focus on promoting the website, getting as many people as possible to visit the site (increase traffic) and continually work on the website sales copy and the product/service being offered to get as many website visitors as possible to buy (increase conversion rate).
Where to Start

Q. Ok, I understand Traffic and I think I understand Conversion. What next?

The first important decision you have to make is what path to choose for starting to generate money online. Having so many different ways to make money online may seem confusing to new people.

Borrowing an analogy from Robert Kawasaki, I categorized the 4 distinct paths you can choose when getting started online. Pick the one that you feel is best suited for you and you'll be one step closer to earning your living online.

Level 1: Online Employee - Replace your "physical world" boss with an online boss. Visit WAHM (Work At Home Mom), WorkPlaceLikeHome. You'll find hundreds of opportunities to do real work for real companies from your home and get paid real bucks. LiveOps and West are two solid companies in the customer support category. You can find other companies if you don't feel comfortable speaking to customers over the phone and getting paid by the minute.

Level 2: Online Self Employed - Start a small business online and be your own boss. The absolute best place to start is eBay . Find a niche you love, search eBay to ensure there are at least 3 sellers in that niche to indicate demand is high enough and start offering those products on eBay as a seller. Starting on eBay is common to many of today's successful online moguls. Other great online small businesses to start with are - your own copywriting shop (if you know how to write well), a blog where you write about a hot niche and promote affiliate offers, or your own consulting business (if you have strong expertise in your area).

Level 3: Online Investor - If you have $5,000 to risk (don't risk more initially) this path might be for you. Head over to SitePoint forums and take a month to learn about how online businesses are bought and sold for a profit similar to Real Estate fixer-uppers. Another good investment channel is becoming a Domainer (people who buy website domains cheap and sell them months later for a huge profit).

Level 4: Online Business Owner
- The holy grail of making money online is becoming a business owner. The difference between "Online Self Employed" and "Online Business Owner" is that as an online business owner, your business can function without you. Online business owners typically have dozens or hundreds of active websites, all generating passive income requiring little to no involvement. While obviously ideal, this is also the most difficult level to conquer. I strongly suggest you go through the previous levels first, to gain an understanding of the online world. Once you're ready, profitable online businesses are all about creating a service (or destination) people would easily extract value from. Create a site people would love to recommend to their friends and you're on the right track. Profitable online businesses include: Niche Content sites, Dating sites, Proxy servers , Lead generation , Affiliate Marketing and many more.

Q. How do I pick the right path for me? Being an online business owners sounds like the best one?

Yeah being an online business owner with hundreds of sites under your belt is the quickest way to making a 7 figure income. But notice I specifically marked that one as 'Level 4'.

If you're just getting started online, it usually doesn't make sense to get started at level 4 from day one. While you might succeed, you can increase your chances by starting from the basics.

I didn't say you have to spend years working through each level. You can open an eBay business, learn the ins and outs of making money and sell your eBay business a few months later as you move on to the next level.

Probably the best way to pick the right path for you, is to mimic what you are currently doing in the "physical world". If you are an employee of a big company, start by converting yourself to an online employee so that you can work from home. If you have a small business in the "physical world", start by converting your small business to an online one so that you can attract a much wider audience.

Take it step by step, be prepared to fail and most importantly - keep your day job until your total 3-month online earnings equal 150% of what your old job used to pay.
Q. I used to do Real Estate and can relate to buying-selling businesses. How do I get more guidance?
Once you pick the right path for you, your next question is probably going to be - "Ok great, now what do I do first thing tomorrow morning?"

Thankfully, the Internet has many forums and a handful of blogs, matching each path of online money making. Make sure you pick the right forums (I linked to many of the good ones above) and don't get too carried away spending all your time reading and no time producing.

Be very focused on meeting your predefined goals before you jump on the forums.

For example, if you pick the path of being an Online Investor, buying and selling websites, you'll have to start at SitePoint Forums - read everything under the marketplace sub-forum and try to identify how the successful users act. Feel free to ask questions, introduce yourself and be very honest about where you are in the process. You'll be surprised but many people would love to help.

Similar to a Real Estate fixer-upper, in the online world, you'll have to learn how to first evaluate website traffic (population), earning's potential (look at comps), search engine placement (neighborhood) and then understand where to get cheap developers (workers) and project managers (builders) to manage it all.
Shortcuts

Q. Sounds like a lot of information to digest. Any shortcuts?

We all love shortcuts, don't we?

The best way to ensure you are on track to replace your "physical world" income with an online income in less than 12 months, is "goal setting".

Cliche or not, without having specific goals, your chances of succeeding are slim to none.

Here's a good set of goals that will help you get started, covering all basic grounds:

1. Make $20 online by exchanging your time for money

2. Sell something on eBay, even if you make no money or lose up to $50 in the process.

3. Make $50 profit online by selling a product, service or promoting an affiliate-offer

4. Make $5 online by building a simple content site and embedding Google AdSense in it

5. Buy a website that is making $100 or more per month, for $200 or less.

Q. What else?

Pick a mentor and ride his (or her) wave.

Every meteor revolves around a star. Similarly, you need to pick a successful person making money online in the path you chose earlier, contact that person and get them to take you under your wing.

You can find these people in forums such as DigitalPoint , WickedFire , SitePoint and WebMasterWorld.

Be very honest about who you are and what you are looking to do. Explain you are willing to work very hard for very little or no compensation, you are very impressed with the posts posted by [your chosen mentor] and are looking to learn more about making money online.

Don't expect to win over stars who are making 7 figures on-line. Start with folks who are just one level ahead of you in the game, re-assure them your intentions are pure and keep trying until you find the right fit.

Just about every successful person in both the online and offline worlds had a mentor they looked up to when they got started.

Q. Where do I find my first customers and how do I build a critical-mass of traffic?

Once you have an eBay store, a content site (with AdSense and Affiliate offers) or just a basic website promoting your own services, go to friends, family and old co-workers. Ask them to visit your site and ask for honest opinion.

Very Important: Don't tell them this site is yours. If you do, you're not going to get honest opinion. Instead, say you're looking to buy this site and you want to get their opinion if this is a site they would visit again.

Having a site with high stickiness factor, where you offer enough of a value proposition to website visitors to come back, is very important to building a sustainable online income.

Introduction to Google Adsense

Introduction to Google Adsense

Google AdSense matches ads to your site's content, and you earn money whenever your visitors click on them. Google's spider crawls webpages containing the adsense code, and delivers ads that are relevant to the site, audience and the specific content on the page.

Adsense works in conjunction with Google Adwords, selecting ads to display on your site from Adwords' massive advertiser database. And since Google provides the ads, you don't have to worry about mantaining relationships wit individual advertisers.

Simple explanation - Google collects ad information from webmasters who want to advertise their sites. These advertisers bid on keywords and create text or image ads related to their purchased keywords. These ads are stored by Google. Now you sign up for adsense and add te adsense code to pages on your website. If te content on your page matches keywords purchased by any advertisers, those specific ads are displayed on your site pages by the ad sense code.

Detailed below is information on adding adsense to your site, and tips for optimizing performance of ads and maximizing revenue from Google Adsense.

Implementing Adsense

The full explanation for the above block diagram is available here. Just to be clear, the above diagram is not official, or verified to be correct. No one outside Google knows exactly how Gogle's algorithm works. But it does give a clear picture of how Adsense and Adwords interact, to produce a superlative and unmatched contextual advertising network with a seamless and fully automated system, from accepting ads to displaying them, accepting money from advertisers and paying it out to publishers.

[google ads]

Let's get down to how to implement Google adsense on your website. It's a simple matter of signing up with adsense, specifying options such as link units, text and background color options and then copying the code and pasting it on your website templates, or if you are not using templates, on specific pages. This however, does not get the cash register go ka-ching, even if you have healthy traffic. The main reason is that Adsense is now so universally known, that just about everyone wo uses the internet knows that it is an advertisement, and the first reaction from visitors to your site is to ignore the adsense ads.

You need to do some trail and erroe and find out three or four combinations of ads and locations on your pages, where the ads work and you get more clicks. I say 3 or 4 combinations, beacuse once you have a successful combination of winning ads and locations, your visitors, over a period of time, say one month or two months, will start ignoring the ads. Then its time to change the ads and move to the next winning combination. That's why you need at least 3 or 4 combinations of well designed ads, placed in locations which entice clicks. Google as comipled a helpful guide to optimize adsense ad performance, for specific kinds of pages, such as blogs, forums, etc. You can view the guide here. If you have multiple sites, you can use the same adsense code, or PIN, to place ads on all sites, and monitor and tweak the performance and earnings from each, by means of using channels and filters.

Summary

Generally speaking, Adsense will make you enough to pay your hosting charges, but not enough to help pay your mortgage. The cents keep coming everyday, and it slowly collects into dollars. If you want a lot of dollars from adsense, there's two simple things you can do. Increase your traffic, or start dozens of sites. Ad performance notwithstanding, if a 100 visitors make you $4, 1000 visitors will make you $40. Simple as that. And finally, Google will pay, only by check, and only when the amount reaches $100. Update : supermom_in_ny points out that Google also pays by direct deposit to your bank.

This will help you get the attention of more blog readers. Pingomatic and Pingoat are some of the available sites that supply this kind of service at no cost.

Apart from pinging your blog, you need to pursue other internet marketing efforts to let your target market know that you exist and that you are a valuable source of information. As soon as you gain a steady flow of targeted traffic to your blog, you have the potential to make money out of it.

Step 4: Making Space for Advertisements

Advertising would be the primary means for you to make money out of your blog. As long as you have a good number of loyal followers and you maintain a steady flow of traffic, you have much to gain from publishing pay-per-click advertisements or even directly selling some space to advertisers.

By following the steps listed above, you can be more effective making money online out of your blog.

Three Steps to Succeed with Niche Marketing

Choosing the right niche is crucial to succeed in making money online. For this reason, it is important for you to take the time to find the niche you can excel in as well as generate long term profits with.

Although it is true that different niches have different characteristics, there are general steps you need to take to succeed with niche marketing. These steps are listed below.

1) Familiarize Yourself with Your Target Market

The profile and behavior of your target market should be the basis for your entire online business model. You need to know who exactly your target market is in terms of demographics and psychographics. This will allow you to discover the best ways to communicate with them and capture their attention.

2) Discover Their Issues and Problems

All markets have unmet needs. It can be issues and problems that have yet to be addressed or desires that need to be satisfied. While most of these unmet needs are discussed openly, some of them may not be so obvious. To succeed with niche marketing, you need to discover what those unmet needs are and find ways to address them.

3) Test Your Targeted Niche

No matter how good you think your business model is, you need to take the time to test it before you launch an entire campaign. Find a small group of people from within your target market and let them experience what you have to offer. If your business model works with them, you can be confident that you will succeed once you launch your full-scale campaign. You can also use this as an opportunity to gather insights on how to improve your offerings.

No matter what niche you want to specialize in, it would be necessary for you to take these three steps as they will ensure your success with niche marketing.

Four Tips for Google Adwords Beginner

If you're new on using Google Adwords to generate targeted traffic and make money online, here are four tips for you to make your AdWords campaign effective:

1) Make the Most out of Keyword Research Tools

There are both free and paid tools you can use to help you find the most profitable keywords within your niche. As a beginner, it is recommended for you to settle for free ones and then go for the more extensive paid tools once your campaign becomes more profitable.

2) Always Group Similar Keywords

Never combine different keywords into one advertisement group. You need to make sure that all keywords within one ad group are similar. For example, "how to make money blogging" and "make money blogging" should be grouped together but "blog profits" should not be placed in the same group. Grouping your ads properly is crucial to your Google Adwords success.

3) Include Keywords in your Copy

The most profitable keywords you find through keyword research tools should be included in your copy. Just be sure that you use the right keywords in your copy for each ad group that you have. Although your ad will surely appear in whatever search results you've paid for, making use of the keywords in your ad will allow for lower CPC and a higher advertisement position. Your ad will also be more visible as keywords in searches are displayed in bold.

4) Set your Daily Budget

Make sure you set your daily budget to a reasonable amount. Don't set it too high that you may end up overspending. Don't set it too low either as you may not achieve ideal results. Keep in mind that you are still experimenting at this stage. Once you find the most profitable strategies for your own Google Adwords campaign, you can start slowly increasing your daily budget.

PPC Classroom Will Absolutely Show You How to Make Money Online!

I was in the same position as many are now. I was looking for ways to make money online. I tried a couple of things that didn't work. I then found affiliate marketing. I bought a couple of courses, one of which didn't show me much. Another was too advanced and didn't really get me started. I finally found PPC Classroom. These were the people who got me going. I am one of their students at this time and I am well on my way to making more money than I had dreamed.

Marketing online can change your life. I won't say it will happen over night. It takes dedication and time to understand, but the rewards are great! These people can get you started faster than anyone else out there and teach you the right way to make money.

Marketing online is a good way to make money even if the economy is down. People are always buying something. As you get better, you figure out what to market and when. PPC stands for pay per click which is one of the best ways to get traffic to someone else’s website or your own. When someone clicks through your ad and buys a product, you get a commission. The way they teach it is best for the beginner and experienced affiliate marketers. The way they teach putting a marketing campaign together takes out much of the guesswork.

Without their training I would have been fumbling around for a long time trying to figure out this business. It is definitely the best way to make money online. I have heard many accomplished marketers praise the strategy that is taught in this course, including Mike Reining who served as Head of New Venture Strategy at eBay.

The owners of the course are Anik Singal and Amit Mehta. Anik was second place in business weeks entrepreneur of the year in the under 25 category and is probably well on his way to winning it this year. They definitely know their stuff when it comes to teaching people to make money online. I could not have made a better decision when I decided to sign up. They will be open for a very limited time accepting new students.

They will be holding a live online broadcast via ustream on Thursday, May 28th, 3pm (New York time) and Saturday, May 30th from the class live event in Las Vegas. Get the course when you get the DVD. They will only be accepting students for a very short time.

I went to the class live event in California last December of last year to meet my classmates, instructors, and speakers (including Mike Reining). Many of the students were making very good money and some were outstanding. They really know what they are doing and the people on the next page are real and those are actual amounts that students made by following their system.

I strongly recommend getting the DVD and access to the course. If you are serious about making money online you will not regret this. Speaking from experience, this is the right place to start. Period!

Biology

The Coffea plant is native to subtropical Africa and southern Asia.[23] It belongs to a genus of ten species of flowering plants of the family Rubiaceae. It is an evergreen shrub or small tree that may grow 5 meters tall when unpruned. The leaves are dark green and glossy, usually 100–150 milimeters long and 60 milimeters wide. It produces clusters of fragrant white flowers that bloom simultaneously. The fruit berry is oval, about 15 milimeters long,[24] and green when immature, but ripens to yellow, then crimson, becoming black on drying. Each berry usually contains two seeds, but 5–10% of the berries[25] have only one; these are called peaberries.[26] Berries ripen in seven to nine months

Cultivation

Coffee is usually propagated by seeds. The traditional method of planting coffee is to put 20 seeds in each hole at the beginning of the rainy season; half are eliminated naturally. Coffee is often intercropped with food crops, such as corn, beans, or rice, during the first few years of cultivation.[24]

Map showing areas of coffee cultivation:
r:Coffea canephora
m:Coffea canephora and Coffea arabica
a:Coffea arabica

The two main cultivated species of the coffee plant are Coffea canephora and Coffea arabica. Arabica coffee (from C. arabica) is considered more suitable for drinking than robusta coffee (from C. canephora); robusta tends to be bitter and have less flavor than arabica. For this reason, about three-quarters of coffee cultivated worldwide is C. arabica.[23] However, C. canephora is less susceptible to disease than C. arabica and can be cultivated in environments where C. arabica will not thrive. Robusta coffee also contains about 40–50% more caffeine than arabica.[2] For this reason, it is used as an inexpensive substitute for arabica in many commercial coffee blends. Good quality robustas are used in some espresso blends to provide a better foam head and to lower the ingredient cost.[27] Other cultivated species include Coffea liberica and Coffea esliaca, believed to be indigenous to Liberia and southern Sudan, respectively.[2]

Most arabica coffee beans originate from either Latin America, eastern Africa, Arabia, or Asia. Robusta coffee beans are grown in western and central Africa, throughout southeast Asia, and to some extent in Brazil.[23] Beans from different countries or regions usually have distinctive characteristics such as flavor, aroma, body, and acidity.[28] These taste characteristics are dependent not only on the coffee's growing region, but also on genetic subspecies (varietals) and processing.[29] Varietals are generally known by the region in which they are grown, such as Colombian, Java or Ko

Roasting

Roasted coffee beans

Coffee berries and their seeds undergo several processes before they become the familiar roasted coffee. First, coffee berries are picked, generally by hand. Then they are sorted by ripeness and color and the flesh of the berry is removed, usually by machine, and the seeds—usually called beans—are fermented to remove the slimy layer of mucilage still present on the bean. When the fermentation is finished, the beans are washed with large quantities of fresh water to remove the fermentation residue, which generates massive amounts of highly polluted coffee wastewater. Finally, the seeds are dried; the best, but least utilized method of drying coffee is by using drying tables. In this method the pulped and fermented coffee is spread thinly on raised beds, which allows the air to pass on all sides of the coffee. The coffee is then mixed by hand. and the drying that takes place is more uniform, and fermentation is less likely. Most coffee from Africa is dried in this manner and certain coffee farms around the world are starting to utilize this traditional method as well. Next, the coffee is sorted, and labeled as green coffee. Another way to let the coffee beans dry is to let them sit on a cement patio and rake over them in the sunlight. Some companies use cylinders to pump in heated air to dry the coffee beans, though this is generally in places where the humidity is too high to correctly get the moisture out.[46]

The next step in the process is the roasting of the green coffee. Coffee is usually sold in a roasted state, and all coffee is roasted before it is consumed. It can be sold roasted by the supplier, or it can be home roasted.[47] The roasting process influences the taste of the beverage by changing the coffee bean both physically and chemically. The bean decreases in weight as moisture is lost and increases in volume, causing it to become less dense. The density of the bean also influences the strength of the coffee and requirements for packaging. The actual roasting begins when the temperature inside the bean reaches 200°C, though different varieties of beans differ in moisture and density and therefore roast at different rates.[48] During roasting, caramelization occurs as intense heat breaks down starches in the bean, changing them to simple sugars that begin to brown, changing the color of the bean.[49] Sucrose is rapidly lost during the roasting process and may disappear entirely in darker roasts. During roasting, aromatic oils, acids, and caffeine weaken, changing the flavor; at 205°C, other oils start to develop.[48] One of these oils is caffeol, created at about 200°C, which is largely responsible for coffee's aroma and flavor.[17]

Depending on the color of the roasted beans as perceived by the human eye, they will be labeled as light, medium light, medium, medium dark, dark, or very dark. A more accurate method of discerning the degree of roast involves measuring the reflected light from roasted beans illuminated with a light source in the near infrared spectrum. This elaborate light meter uses a process known as spectroscopy to return a number that consistently indicates the roasted coffee’s relative degree of roast or flavor development. Such devices are routinely used for quality assurance by coffee-roasting businesses.

Darker roasts are generally smoother, because they have less fiber content and a more sugary flavor. Lighter roasts have more caffeine, resulting in a slight bitterness, and a stronger flavor from aromatic oils and acids otherwise destroyed by longer roasting times.[50] A small amount of chaff is produced during roasting from the skin left on the bean after processing.[51] Chaff is usually removed from the beans by air movement, though a small amount is added to dark roast coffees to soak up oils on the beans.[48] Decaffeination may also be part of the processing that coffee seeds undergo. Seeds are decaffeinated when they are still green. Many methods can remove caffeine from coffee, but all involve either soaking beans in hot water or steaming them, then using a solvent to dissolve caffeine-containing oils.[17] Decaffeination is often done by processing companies, and the extracted caffeine is usually sold to the pharmaceutical industry.[17]

Health and pharmacology

Coffee ingestion on average is about a third of that of tap water in North America and Europe.[1] Worldwide, 6.7 million metric tons of coffee were produced annually in 1998–2000, and the forecast is a rise to 7 million metric tons annually by 2010.[69]

Scientific studies have examined the relationship between coffee consumption and an array of medical conditions. Findings are contradictory as to whether coffee has any specific health benefits, and results are similarly conflicting regarding the negative effects of coffee consumption.[8]

Overview of the more common effects of caffeine,[70] a main active component of coffee

Coffee consumption has been shown to have minimal or no impact, positive or negative, on cancer development;[71] however, researchers involved in an ongoing 22-year study by the Harvard School of Public Health state that "the overall balance of risks and benefits [of coffee consumption] are on the side of benefits."[71] Various other studies have shown apparent reductions in the risks of Alzheimer's disease, Parkinson's disease, heart disease, diabetes mellitus type 2, cirrhosis of the liver,[72] and gout. A longitudinal study in 2009 showed that moderate drinkers of coffee (3-5 cups per day) had lower chances of developing dementia, in addition to Alzheimer's disease [73]. It increases the risk of acid reflux and associated diseases.[74] Some health effects of coffee are due to its caffeine content, as the benefits are only observed in those who drink caffeinated coffee while others appear to be due to other components.[75] For example, the antioxidants in coffee prevent free radicals from causing cell damage.[76]

Caffeine is the major coffee constituent which the coffee tolerance or intolerance depends on. In a healthy liver, the majority of caffeine is degraded by the hepatic microsomal enzymatic system. Caffeine is mostly degraded to paraxanthine substances, partially to theobromine and theophylline, and a small amount of unchanged caffeine is excreted by urine. Therefore, the metabolism of caffeine depends on the state of this enzymatic system of the liver. Elderly individuals with a depleted enzymatic system do not tolerate coffee with caffeine. They are recommended to take decaffeinated coffee, and this only if their stomach is healthy, because both decaffeinated coffee and coffee with caffeine cause heartburn. Moderate amounts of coffee (50-100 mg of caffeine or 5-10 g of coffee powder a day) are well tolerated by a majority of elderly people, who enjoy to meet and chat over a cup of coffee. Excessive amounts of coffee, however, can in many individuals cause very unpleasant, exceptionally even life-threatening side effects.[77]

Coffee consumption can lead to iron deficiency anemia in mothers and infants.[78] Coffee also interferes with the absorption of supplemental iron.[79]

American scientist Yaser Dorri has suggested that the smell of coffee can restore appetite and refresh olfactory receptors. He suggests that people can regain their appetite after cooking by smelling coffee beans, and that this method can also be used for research animals.[80] Many high end perfume shops now offer coffee beans to refresh the receptors between perfume tests.

Over 1,000 chemicals have been reported in roasted coffee; more than half of those tested (19/28) are rodent carcinogens.[81] Coffee's negative health effects are often blamed on its caffeine content. Research suggests that drinking caffeinated coffee can cause a temporary increase in the stiffening of arterial walls.[82] Coffee is no longer thought to be a risk factor for coronary heart disease.[83] Some studies suggest that it may have a mixed effect on short-term memory, by improving it when the information to be recalled is related to the current train of thought but making it more difficult to recall unrelated information.[84] About 10% of people with a moderate daily intake (235 mg per day) reported increased depression and anxiety when caffeine was withdrawn,[85] and about 15% of the general population report having stopped caffeine use completely, citing concern about health and unpleasant side effects.[86]
